I spoke with my contractor today. He said the shed should be delivered on Monday November 4th. It could be a few days on either side of that, we'll see. The day it was ordered, the arrival date was supposed to be the 28^th of this month, so not too far off.

He's going to check his schedule and sometime either later this week or early next, we will meet on the property and pick out the exact location for the shed. Then he will prepare the pad for the shed.

I'll clear up (in my mind) all the details for the pad. Primarily I need to know if it will be dropped directly on the gravel. Or will it be set on blocks?

I'll also talk to him about when he will be available to help me install the insulation and interior plywood over the insulation (instead of drywall). Once all that is done, I can start moving out of my apartment.

I spoke with my contractor today to arrange a day and time for us to meet on the property. We decided on this coming Thursday, the 31^st. We'll locate the spot for the shed and prepare the area for it to be placed when it arrives. The shed builder is supposed to call him to verify the day of delivery. It may be Monday, the 4^th or Thursday, the 7^th.

I drove to the property today and discussed, among other details, where the shed will be placed. The conversation only took about a half-hour or so. Then I drove back home. A long day driving, but the conversation was important. We still don't know the exact day of the delivery of the shed, and most likely won't, until the day before or even the day of delivery. I guess the manufacturer doesn't like to get people's hopes up in case there are any late, last minute problems.

My contractor keeps trying to talk me out of an RV and into some type of more traditional cabin. But I can't believe that will be as cost effective as an RV. He said he will be sending me some information about what he has in mind. Depending on what he sends, who knows? I may change my mind and go with something different than an RV.
